When you sell human intelligence, the market. Article from Il Sole 24 Ore

From two to twenty employees, from 250,000 to more than 1,600,000 in turnover: all in less than four years.
This is the story of an Italian company specialized in the design and construction of computer networks for companies, IT GLOBAL CONSULTING.
Its founder, Emilio Turco, explains with simplicity the reason for his business growth.

Considering my sector, it may seem paradoxical but I believe that human creativity is the fundamental pillar of my company. Our work, to be clear, could not be done by robots. We sell intelligence in the networking and security fields: companies that turn to us must design or modernize their IT infrastructures and they need a critical and strategic vision in the IT field. They ask us to study for them the technological framework on which their business information will travel, that is, their greatest asset. It is in the network design that we do our best: clearly then we also create them, but when the project works, its application requires only punctuality. The business world today is not looking for mere executors, it wants those who know how to do things after thinking. I believe that the entrepreneurial and technological future of our country will be played out on these bases.

Creative intelligence, flexibility and the ability to grasp the subtle nuances - as fundamental as they are - of everyday life are characteristics that cannot be duplicated, even by the most sophisticated machine.

This is the opinion of even the leading experts in the world of robotics, Oussama Khatib, who on the occasion of a themed event recently strongly stated that if robots provide muscles, humans will always have to put their brains in it.
I couldn't agree more with this orientation —Continue Turkish — all of us have to do is ask ourselves if we are ready to train our minds on a daily basis, to nourish them with quality thoughts. Staff recruitment parameters will also change because not only skills will be measured, but also personal qualities such as propensity for change, flexibility, empathy.
I have always carefully chosen my collaborators and provide them with all possible training, on hard and soft skills. I believe that when individuals shine, the company shines accordingly: the entrepreneur must invest in his men and women, without being afraid of then losing control of them.

And when it comes to his future, Emilio Turco has no doubts:

I am an entrepreneur, I would be lying if I denied the will to grow in customers, revenues, staff. We are already considering a new headquarters because the current one is no longer in line with our size and needs. But what I would really like to do is to share more and more intents and objectives with my team: I would like my boys to enter into the corporate logic, even by acquiring company shares. The sense of belonging is essential for a company to work and for its members to be ready to give more and more. I have always been certain of this.
